We are lucky enough this spring to have another wonderful graduate student from Midwestern University joining us in the speech room at Hadley. Many of you may remember our intern from last year, Ms. Smyrock. She is currently employed in Yorkville and we all miss her on the Hadley team! Our new intern, Ms. Tharaldson is a second year speech-language pathology graduate student from Midwestern University. As part of her graduate education, she is required to complete practicum experiences in both medical and school settings. She is currently working in a clinical and educational setting in Chicago but next week, she will join us full time at Hadley.
Ms. Tharaldson will be observing and slowly taking over responsibilities in the speech room. Together, we will co-plan and co-treat as she acclimates and then she will plan and treat with my approval. I know that this will be a rewarding experience for both Ms. Tharaldson and our students and I look forward to her arrival.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let me know. As always, my door is always open to you!
